We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Fusion5. This role is integral to our business, working closely with our CEO, CFO, COO, and Financial Controller to drive financial insights and performance. You’ll be responsible for leading the internal monthly management reporting process, promoting analytical insights, and being the champion of our financial planning tools. You'll need to be a self-starter with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively across various teams.

You will:
- Own the internal monthly management reporting process.
- Drive and promote analytical insights to the business by designing and producing fit-for-purpose dashboards and reports focusing on forward-looking projections.
- Own the mechanical roll-up of budgets and forecasts, including the design and implementation of the quarterly forecast process.
- Analyse financial performance by reviewing key financial metrics, variance reports, and trend analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to analyse data and forecast future performance, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through diligent data management practices.
- Develop sophisticated financial models using tools like Excel, including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning models.
- Implement checks and balances to ensure data accuracy in financial models, maintaining the reliability of financial forecasts and reports.
Our Financial Planning Analyst needs to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 5 -10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and extraction, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Experience in creating and utilizing financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Familiarity with various forecasting methodologies and financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail, essential for ensuring the reliability of financial analyses and reports.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data.
